My Story

Hello! I'm Andrea, a Registered Dietitian and the author of Nourished On Time, committed to making nutrition care in hospitals accessible for everyone. I understand the vital role nutrition plays in recovery after illness. It's vital for families of patients to work closely with their medical teams to meet their loved ones' nutritional needs.

Through my blog, I share insights from my healthcare experiences, aiming to provide you with valuable information obtained over a decade long career as a Registered Dietitian.

I hold a Master’s degree in Public Health and have completed over 1,000 hours of supervised nutrition practice. To maintain my Registered Dietitian credential, I engage in ongoing education, completing at least 75 hours of continuing education every five years. I am also a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician so I take care of the nutrition of some of the most sick patients in hospitals.
